Brad Berkshire – VP, Consulting Services
As the Vice President of Consulting Services for Planet Data, Brad manages the Collections Group within Planet Data and consults with clients in the areas of litigation and discovery management. Mr. Berkshire was recently awarded the credential of Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) by the International Society for Computer Examiners (ISFCE). The ISFCE is an internationally recognized organization with the primary goal of creating and maintaining high standards for computer examiners worldwide. The CCE credential demonstrates competency and legitimacy in computer forensics.
Previously, Mr. Berkshire was the Director of Litigation Technology at LeClairRyan. He is an electronic discovery and information systems professional with more than 13 years experience providing e-discovery and technology solutions to a variety of business organizations. Mr. Berkshire provided practice-oriented technology solutions to all areas of LeClairRyan and also served as head of the firm’s litigation technology services group. In addition, Mr. Berkshire directed all technology operations for the firm’s large scale e-discovery projects and provided e-discovery preparedness consulting and e-discovery management services for clients of the firm.
Prior to joining LeClairRyan, Mr. Berkshire was the principal owner of Seltek, Inc., an e-discovery and technology services consulting firm. His consulting practice at Seltek included providing e-discovery preservation, collection, and management services to large organizations. He also directed technology operations for several small- to mid-sized law firms and professional services firms. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Berkshire spent eight years as the as the Director of Information Systems for the national law firm of Wright, Robinson, Osthimer & Tatum. During his tenure at Wright, Robinson, he managed all information systems projects, including the design and development of the firm’s 250 seat discovery review center.
Mr. Berkshire’s key areas of expertise are electronic discovery and discovery management and the design and support of information systems resources. His experience and hands-on management of e-discovery and technology-based projects have given Mr. Berkshire the ability to assist businesses with strategic planning for electronic discovery, budgeting for e-discovery projects, and vendor management for e-discovery and information technology projects.
