Project Manager - Electronic Discovery and Litigation Support
Planet Data Solutions Inc, a software technology company providing premier document management solutions and repository services to professional services organizations, has an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager at our state-of-the-art Westchester County facility.
Primary responsibility is Project Management of Data/Document and Litigation Support projects for a variety of large corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in a corporate, law firm or litigation support vendor environment, with experience managing large and complex projects. Experience with data management, databases, document scanning, coding and OCR.
• Experience managing complex projects
• Proven ability to meet client deadlines
• Customer service orientation and ability to manage client expectations
• Experience with data management and database technology
• Experience with Electronic Data Processing (Electronic Discovery)
• Experience with databases such as, MS Access required
• Experience in Document Imaging (Scanning) and Coding.
• Experience with iCONECT, Concordance and other litigation software
• Willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree a plus

Requirements
3-5 Years Oracle experience
3 years experience in Oracle 10g
Excellent SQL and PL/SQL development skills
Proficiency in Unix shell scripting
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written

SQL and PL/SQL Tuning

Schema Management/Design (DML/DDL)

ASP System Administrator – Litigation Support Vendor Environment

The ideal candidate utilizes his/her knowledge and experience in database management, to support our distributed systems/repository environment. He or she will utilize ASP experience and experience with related products (iCONECTnxt, FYI, Casevault etc.) to support client projects.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently to manage database environment including load data, create users, create data sets, troubleshoot, communicate with Project Managers and support personnel, create reports, and monitor systems. Provide end-user/client support and answer “help desk” type inquiries.
5+ years in a litigation support or vendor environment, 2+ years in an ASP environment. iCONECTnxt experience or similar experience in other ASP products (FYI, CaseVault, etc) a plus. iCONECTnxt ASP Administration training highly preferred. DBA experience, Oracle preferred, experience working with a
variety of load files ASP application back-end management. College Degree – computer science preferred.

The ideal candidate utilizes his/her knowledge/experience in software development to enhance and maintain in-house proprietary software applications which are utilized for processing multiple forms of electronic data.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently to create programmatic changes to software in a client-driven “production” environment with multiple concurrent projects. Must be sensitive to deadlines and able to work under time constraints. Must have “Customer Service” focus and detail orientation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Five + years working in a programming environment. Litigation Support and Electronic Discovery experience a strong plus.
BS in Computer Science and/or Engineering, Expert knowledge of VB, C#, Client Server, SQL Server Development, MS Office Development and XML required. Lotus Notes, C++ and a Masters Degree a plus.
